Job Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Market Research:
Conduct in-depth market research on trends in the B2C app sector, analyzing competitor products and user behavior. Develop differentiated product strategies to ensure competitive advantage and growth potential in the market.
Product Design & Development (From 0 to 1):
Lead the design and development of products from the ground up, including full lifecycle planning and implementation. Responsibilities cover product positioning, feature design, prototyping, and MVP testing to build core features and foster early market growth.
Ad Technology Integration & Commercial Optimization:
Gain an in-depth understanding of ad technologies (e.g., programmatic advertising, DSP/SSP platforms). Collaborate with technical teams to integrate ad functionalities, optimize targeting accuracy, and improve monetization capabilities. Requirements: Experience in integrating ad technologies or commercial products on major ad platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads) and proficiency in ad strategy optimization.
AI Product Design & Application:
Drive the design and implementation of AI-powered functionalities, applying machine learning and data algorithms to enhance personalized recommendations, smart ad placement, and behavior prediction. The role requires a strong ability to commercialize AI technologies, improving user experience and driving product growth.
User Growth & Retention Strategy:
Design and implement strategies for user acquisition and retention for the B2C app, utilizing advertising, promotional activities, and AI recommendation algorithms. Continuously analyze user behavior data to execute precision marketing for various user groups. Requirements: Hands-on experience in user growth products, especially in improving conversion and retention rates through data analysis and A/B testing.
Data-Driven Product Decision Making:
Utilize various data tools (e.g., GA, Mixpanel) for product data analysis to monitor usage, uncover business opportunities in data, and adjust product strategies and features based on insights from analysis.
Cross-Department Collaboration & Project Management:
Maintain effective communication with design, tech, data science, operations, and marketing teams, ensuring smooth planning, development, launch, and optimization of products. Resolve issues promptly during product iteration cycles.
Requirements
B2C App Experience:
3-5 years of experience in product management for B2C apps, having successfully led or contributed to products with user bases reaching millions. Prefer experience in social or search products (e.g., Xiaohongshu, TikTok, Maimai, Quark).
Ad/Marketing Product Experience:
Familiarity with programmatic advertising, DSP, SSP, and other ad technologies, with expertise in digital and social media ad placements. Specific product experience with platforms like Google Ads, Facebook Ads, TikTok Ads, or Star Map is required.
AI Product Experience:
Proven experience in applying AI in product features, including recommendation systems, intelligent ad placement, or user behavior prediction. Relevant product experience (e.g., AI-driven content recommendations, intelligent customer service, personalized ad recommendations) is required.
International Product Experience (Plus):
Experience in managing or participating in products targeting overseas markets, with an understanding of different user needs and cultural nuances across markets. Specific product experience with platforms like TikTok or Bigo is a plus.
Data-Driven Mindset:
Strong ability to analyze product data and make optimization and decision-making based on data insights.
Team Collaboration:
Excellent cross-department communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively with design, tech, and operations teams.
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Advertising, or Marketing.
